The Dean of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University (KKU) Dr. Sultan Al Farah, has explained that the Deanship had launched a number of electronic services in preparation for the new academic year. The most important electronic service is academic guidance for students and faculty members . This service enables the student to know his / her current situation, study plan, remaining levels, and numbers of alerts. In addition to that, the service contains some other indicators and figures which help the students to have full knowledge about their studies, as well as the case for the faculty members. Also Dr. Al Farah has clarified that the number of electronic services provided by the deanship for its members and for KKU students had exceeded 270 electronic services. All of them are described in Academica Mobile App. He said, "The electronic services provided by the Deanship constitutes 95% of the all Services. These electronic services are totally reliable without the need to visit the offices of the university." "The Deanship is moving forward to achieve 'paperless deanship' plan in which the Deanship has no beneficiaries coming to the deanship. The Deanship also intends to hold a second admission exhibition after the success of the first one. Moreover, it plans to engage in tourism activities conducted in Abha, and to provide extensive guidance to new students."
