Rector visits Dhahran Al Janub Hospital.

His Excellency, the Rector of  King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Salami, accompanied by the University Vice President, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al jelban, deans, and a number of employees of the university, have visited Dhahran Al Janub Hospital. At the hospital, they met the patients and the injured brave soldiers who have been fighting in the southern borders. The visit took place yesterday (Saturday, 18 / 10 / 1437 AH). The delegation was received at the hospital  by the Director of Dhahran Al Janub Hospital, Mr. Mohammed Asiri. The visit came on the Rector's inspection tour to the University faculties at Ahad Rafidah, Sarat Obeida, and Dhahran Al JAnub.

His Excellency the Rector clarified that he was honored to visit colleges of the university in the provinces of Ahad Rafidah, Sarat Obeida, and Dhahran Al Janub. He said, "It was an opportunity to visit our injured brave soldiers who have been stationed in this precious part of our beloved country. I pray to Allah - the Almighty - for reconciliation and for a speedy recovery of all injured soldiers." He added, "We trust in God that our soldiers are definitely victors, first, by the wish of Allah, and then, because of the support of our wise leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Saalman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud - God protect him, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz - May Allah protect them all."

Also, the tour has resulted in a visit to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Girls in Ahad Rafidah, where the Rector was briefed on the college buildings, o the departments, and on the laboratories. In this regard, His Excellency the Rector, noted down a number of observations. Furthermore, Rector Al Salami clarified that the university received the land for the establishment of a College for Girls in the Province of Ahad Rafidah.

After that, the Rector and his entourage visited Girls College in the Province of Sarat Ubaida, at where the visitors listened to the demands of a number of attending citizens. Then, the delegation inspcted college buildings and went to the Project of Sciences and Arts College for Girls in Sarat Ubeida, at where they had a look on the buildings, and on the supportive services building. The Rector directed for the quick completion of the project.

Next, His Excellency the Rector and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to Boys College in Dhahran Al Janub. They were received at the college by the Dean of the College, Dr. Misfer Al Wadi'i. There, the visitors listened to a detailed explanation of all sections and laboratories, as well as offices of the college. After that, there was a tour to the girls' college in the Province and to the project of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Dhahran Al Janub. Then, the delegation went for lunch in the presence of a number of dignitaries and sheikhs of the province. This aspect of the visit was a chance to listen to a number of the people's demands. The Rector promised to study all those demands.

The University Rector expressed his happiness to visit Dhahran Al Janub province and stated that the colleges of the province were fully equipped and that all the projects were going to optimize. He added, "University strives to provide the most appropriate environment for the students, and the University administration will study the possibility of increasing some disciplines at the faculties of the provinces." He explained further that "the university always seeks to support community partnership with all other sectors of the state".

In a related development, Dr. Faleh Bin Raja Allah Al Salami - the Rector - visited University branches in Tehama on Thursday morning, the 17th of the current month of Shawwal 1437 AH. The Rector and his delegation were briefed on all the buildings in a number of centers in the provinces of Tehama, and the efficiency to serve the students, stressing the need to provide all the services and supplies that will make progress to the educational process in those branches. The visit included the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Girls in Majardh province, the building under construction for the Faculty of Science and Literature for Boys in Tehama, the academic complex for girls in Tehama, and the Community College for Boys in Mahayel province, in addition to the College of Arts and Sciences Building and the Community College in Mahayel. The visit was concluded by an inspection tour to Community College for Girls in Rejal Almae province.

During his tour to the buildings under construction, Rector Al Salami stressed the need to accomplish such projects in accordance with the highest standards, as these building will provide the advancement to the people of region, who have the right to learn in a good learning environment. His Excellency the Recto also pointed to the need to address the issue of electrical loads through the support and supply in a number of branches, to be done through coordination between the university and the electricity company.

His Excellency the Rector directed the investors in the buffets and food catering services in all branches of the university in Tehama to reconsider reducing food prices, since the first consumer is the student; who is with limited income.
