University Acting President presides over the second meeting of rehabilitating local body leaders Authority in Assir.

His Excellency, the Acting President of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Marei Bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, has presided over the second meeting of the supervisory commission of the rehabilitation of the body of local Authority leaders of Assir project. The meeting took place in the presence of both the University Vice - President of Quality and Development, Dr. Ahmed Aljbaili, and director of the Center for the preparation of administrative leaders, who is also the Executive Director of the project, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Alfaifi, in addition to the representatives of Suleiman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi Charity Foundation, King Khalid Foundation, and the coordinating council of charity associations in Asir region.

His Excellency the Acting President welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of mutual cooperation in all that would serve the community. Then, the Executive Director of the project reviewed the meeting's agenda.

At the meeting, the Executive and the financial plans for the phases of the project were approved, in addition to the expected schedule to implement the project. A number of important resolutions which are related to the project were also taken.

It is worth mentioning that the project is meant to rehabilitate efficiently and effectively the leaders of workers in social work, and in charitable work of the local bodies in Asir region. This is set to be achieved through a series of training programs, based on a survey of the training needs in practice. Moreover, it is aimed at providing advisory services after training in the legal, technical, administrative, and financial aspects by experts, as well as to measure the impact achieved in the post-training stage, based on a scientific and objective criteria.
