Girls' Colleges celebrates alumnae at the University.

Girls' Colleges of King Khalid University (KKU) have celebrated the alumnae of the 18th batch of their graduating students. The occasions took place over the last five days - from Saturday to Thursday.

The alumnae formed 64 % of the university graduates of this year who are graduate studies holders and bachelor degree holders, in addition to international diploma and diploma graduates who numbered 10,300 male and female graduates combined.

The celebration program began, in various colleges, with a word given by His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Asir region, then followed by the word of the Rector of KKU, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood. Furthermore, in the celebrations were word from every student as a representative for every college students, as well as the honor to excellent students, who achieved degrees of honor, and also there were words from the deans of faculties, followed by alumnae march.

The Assistant of the Vice - President of the girls' colleges, Prof. Dr. Kholoud Abu melha, expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid - the Governor of Asir Region, for his patronage to the graduation ceremony of this year, and for sharing with the graduates  their joy of graduation. Dr. Khoulud stressed that the sponsorship of the graduation ceremony embodied the passion, the interest and the unlimited support for the process of education at the university. She also thanked the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Dawood, for his interest and passion for the university students. She said, "We congratulate the graduates' parents on their daughters' success and superiority," and directing her speech to parents, she said, "You are picking the fruit of your upbringing, and now you are sharing with your daughters the joy of their graduation."

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Girls in Abha, Dr. Khayria Al-Hassan Al Asiri, congratulated the alumnae, saying, "I congratulate my graduating students on a day that the nation is in a sparkling delight because of them, and in which culminated the story of struggle for days and years of success, and of the harvest the blossomed fruits." Dr. Khayria added, "My message to them is that you are the wealth of this beloved country, you are the bright future. Here is a standing point to carry the honesty of the religion and of the home, a launch that coincided with the 2030 vision. God bless this graduation and I ask God to help you to benefit the religion and the homeland."

For her part, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushayt, Dr. Serae Abu Melha, confirmed that it was a joyful day in which the university celebrates the graduation of the 18th batch of their graduating students and their daughters, under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud - the Governor of Asir region - may God protect him, who always promises participation, attendance and follow-up of all that would support and would encourage the University in its academic mission. She added, "This batch includes the third batch of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Khamis Mushayt, and the third batch of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushayt as well"

For her part, the Dean of the Faculty of Science for Girls in Abha, Dr. Halima Al-Said, congratulated the graduates, saying, "I congratulate the graduates from the depths of my heart, with sincere prayers for permanent success and excellence. Graduation is considered the starting point for a successful future, God willing, and I urge the graduates for forgiveness and for them to be grateful to this generous country."

In her turn, the dean of the University Center for the study of the female students in Al-samr, Dr. Ola Alhakan, congratulated the graduates. She said, "I congratulate the graduates of the faculties of health disciplines and computer Sciences on their graduation, they are the pride of King Khalid University, and of the nation. I wish them a happy practical life. I also thank their parents who sought and fought until their daughters graduated and arrived to this educational level, which will enable them to serve their religion, their homeland, and King"
