University hosts the Taekwondo Championship of the Federation of Saudi universities.

King Khalid University (KKU) hosts the Taekwondo Championship of the Federation of Saudi universities, with the participation of 10 Saudi universities. The event will take place during the period from 15 - 16 of this month. The venue of the event is sportive closed hall of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, in Mahalah.

On this occasion, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Murrah Al Habash, has explained that hosting the event came after the directive given by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, to host such tournaments, and within the permanent concern of the university to contribute to the delivery of social services to all segments of society, in addition to hosting other universities in such Youth Championships and sports, with the aim of achieving a positive impact on youth. Dr. Al Habash added, "We hope to achieve the objectives of this tournament, including the strong relationship among the youth of the country, by participating in honest competitions."

It is noteworthy that the participating teams are: King Khalid University, the University of Jeddah, Qassim University, Islamic University, King Abdul Aziz University, King Saud University, Business and Technology University, King Fahd University, the University of Dammam, and the Jizan University.
