University organizes the conference "University Health Systems: Identity and Message"

King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the university agency for Health Specializations, is organizing a conference titled 'University Health Systems: Identity and Message.' The conference which will hold in the period between 21 and 22 Jumadah Al Thani 1437 AH, will take place in Abha. Activities at the conference will include lectures, workshops and scientific researches for two days.

The conference aims, at developing the concept of health systems in the universities, at clarifying the balance mechanism between health education and scientific research, at the provision of services, at defining the role of health systems in universities within the public health system, and at studying the sources of sustainable financing of university health systems and identifying the most suitable means for studying the academic health systems, as well as presenting the scope of health systems in universities, and the degrees and levels of the services provided. It also aims at exploring the future of university health service in the Kingdom and its impact, as well as determining the standards of successes of the university health systems.

It’s worth mentioning that the topics and the axes of the conference depends on the axis of the available health systems, the universities choices and the axis of balance between health education, scientific researches and the health services, as well as the axis of health system integration in universities with general health system, and administrating and financing of the health systems in the universities, in addition to future health services and their impact on the health care in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
