On behalf of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, the General Supervisor of the University branch in Tehama, Asir,  Dr. Mohammed Al-Mezher has sponsored the graduation ceremony of the 4^th batch of the Faculties of Science and Arts students, in addition to the Community Faculty. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Mahayel Asir, Prof. Mohammed bin Sabrah.

The ceremony started with march by the graduating students, followed by a speech delivered by one of them - Hassan Al-Ghamdi - on their behalf. In his word, Al-Ghamdi expressed his and his colleagues' thanks to the attendees for sharing the graduates' joy. Furthermore, Al-Ghamdi expressed the graduates' hopes to be productive for their country and their society, stressing that they were conscious of the need to continue diligence and fruitful work after graduation, in order to take part in their country's progress, based on their acquired knowledge. Al-Ghamdi pointed out that the graduating students would never forget their study and the experience they had lived in within the corridors of King Khalid University, which gave them a lot.

For his part, the General Supervisor of the branch, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mezher gave a word in which he welcomed the Governor and the guests, reviewing the branch's colleges and department for boys and girls, noting that the university branch in Tehammah Asir seeks to raise the level of education in the province for the betterment of the branch and indeed for its students under the umbrella of our government which is generously supporting education and science in various regions and provinces, and in various areas of the educational process.

After that, a short film was displayed which showed success stories of some of the Tehama branch graduates who have their own effective role in serving the nation. The film was entitled "Bright Examples". Then, there was a brief introduction about the faculties of Arts and Sciences and the Community.

The Vice - President of Admissions and Registration Deanship of the branch, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Asiri announced graduating students' results for this yea. He stated that the number of graduates for this academic year reached 520 in boys' colleges, while the number of graduates in girls' colleges reached 1040 graduate.

At the end of the ceremony, the students who achieved the degree of honor were honored. In addition, His Excellency the Supervisor of the branch offered memorial shields to the Governor and the mayor of Mahayel as a recognition of their permanent support for the activities of the university in the province.
