University President Attends a Workshop to Review the "Future of the Artificial Intelligence Center"

His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the workshop, "The Future of the Artificial Intelligence Center at King Khalid University", which was organized by the University Agency for Graduate Studies and Research, represented by the Artificial Intelligence Center, at the Central Library in Al-Fara'a University City. 

In a speech delivered by His Excellency, he said, "I am pleased to be part of this important event that will set a future vision for the development of the Artificial Intelligence Center in our university." He explained that since the establishment of the center, the university has sought to enhance its role as a center of excellence for higher education and scientific research. The Artificial Intelligence Center at the university is one of the most important initiatives that seeks to achieve this goal. He added that this workshop is a platform to discuss the prospects of the center and to enhance its capabilities in the fields of research, development, and practical application.

The Vice President of King Khalid University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Hamid bin Majdou Al-Qarni, explained that the university organized a pioneering workshop entitled "The Future of the Artificial Intelligence Center", which brought together a group of specialists and people of interest in the field of computer science and artificial intelligence, from various scientific disciplines, which reflects the university's commitment to achieving excellence and leadership in this vital field.

He added that during the workshop activities, a series of important axes were discussed, which accurately addressed the strategic directions for developing the Artificial Intelligence Center at the university, including plans to enhance the research and innovative capabilities of the center. As well as discussing ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation with leading institutions at the local and international levels, in addition to presenting the latest technologies and innovations in the field of artificial intelligence and ways to develop research.

Al-Qarni stressed the importance of this workshop as a platform for exchanging valuable experiences and ideas that will contribute to achieving an exceptional leap in the field of artificial intelligence. He added, "This workshop is a sign of our firm commitment to achieving excellence in scientific research and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence. We believe that the future of scientific research and technical development lies in our ability to attract brilliant minds and strengthen strategic partnerships. This is what we strive for through the Artificial Intelligence Center at our university."

He added, "Developing human resources and identifying needs, in terms of skills and specializations in the field of artificial intelligence, and ways to develop human cadres for the future:. He stressed the role of King Khalid University through this initiative as an incubator for innovation and development in the fields of artificial intelligence, and its commitment to supporting and promoting research as a strategic priority that contributes to achieving the goals of King Khalid University's 2030 Strategy and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
