University President Patrons the Elite Football Championship Final

His Excellency, President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, patroned the Elite Football Final for Employees, which was organized by the University Agency for Administrative affairs through the General Administration of Human Resources, and in collaboration with a number of university entities. The final took place in Al-Fara'a University Stadium, and was attended by the Vice-President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Mohammad bin Hamid Al-Beheri.

At the final match, between  the University Security team  and the General Administration of Human Resources team, the University Security team was crowned the championship winner with three goals versus two. It is worth noting that the championship welcomed 10 teams and 130 players over the span of two weeks.

His Excellency expressed his joy with recent university sports developments, which display the university's passion for sports. This year, we witnessed a growing interest in sports, particularly football; evidenced by strong and wide attendance at sports' events.

The Vice-President for Administrative Affairs explained that the Elite Championship for Employees aligns   with the University Life Enrichment Initiative and the University Strategy. The initiative aims to elevate the university’s  quality of life through offering  a healthy and invigorating environment; leading to better work conditions, and a unique environment that allows employees to dive into their hobbies and interests.

His Excellency crowned first place winners with the championship cup, honored advanced teams with medals and awards, and expressed his gratitude to contributing entities.
