University Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Agricultural Committee Council
His Excellency King Khalid University Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, signed a cooperation agreement with the agricultural committee council, the aim of the agreement is to activate agricultural and environmental development, and achieve a coordinated balanced system shared by governmental entities to serve agricultural committees.
Dr. Rahma Al Shahrani the Director of Prince Sultan Center for Environmental and Tourism Research, confirmed the inclusion of the agreement which includes projects , programs and initiatives that aim to enhance the development of the environmental sector . Alshahrani noted the agreement’s most prominent items are represented in training programs in areas offered by the university, in addition to postgraduate programs that serve national agricultural and environmental sectors and encourage research in these areas as well as highlighting the importance of agricultural terraces.
It’s worth noting that the two parties are demonstrated outstanding efforts in the field of environmental development and sustainability.
