University President Inaugurates “ Amal “ Drug Abuse and Smoking Awareness Program

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, launched this morning the “Amal” program to raise awareness of the harms of drugs and smoking , which is organized by the Guidance and Counseling Center at the Deanship of Student Affairs for a period of 3 days in the Academic Complex in Mahalla. The program aims to educate university students and employees on the harms of drug abuse and smoking and their effects on society.
The director of the program, Saeed Al-Fard, explained the guidance and counseling is keen on the diversity of the program activities, noting that it will include an awareness exhibition and a consulting clinics to receive visitors’ questions and inquiries.
