Under the patronage of His Excellency Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, the Deanship of  Postgraduate Studies held a virtual forum for the academic year 1442Ah on March 16th 2021.  

During the forum, His Excellency commended the quality and diversity of King Khalid University's Postgraduate Programs, and praised the joint, executive and professional programs that meet the job market needs and the kingdom’s national vision. He also thanked the Deanship, and the university colleges and students for their scientific and research efforts.

Al Solami, explained that the university pays great attention to postgraduate studies and postgraduate students, adding that the university started to build standard buildings for postgraduate programs and is currently working on establishing a central laboratories to serve the university students 24/7. 

On his part, the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Hamid bin Majdoo Al Qarni, stressed that the university is keen on enhancing the students' scientific and research role, adding that there are support programs for scientific researches, and assuring that the central laboratories are going to provoke a quality shift for the field of scientific research on a regional level.

On his part, the Dean of Postgraduate Studies Deanship, Prof. Ahmed bin Yahya Al Faie, thanked the University President and Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, for their constant care and support, assuring that their support helped the Deanship to have more than 100 programs and more than 3000 students, adding that the Deanship worked on launching an electronic services system, and issued many regulations, rules and guidelines. He also noted that the Deanship is to implement many plans and developmental programs in the near future.

It's worth noting that the forum included an open dialogue session and witnessed many constructive participations from the university’s postgraduate students.
