Assigning Dr. Hamid Al Qarni as Vice President of Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research
His Excellency the Minister of Education, issued a decision to assign Dr. Hamid bin Majdoo Al Qarni for a three year period , as Vice President of Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
Dr. Hamid Al Qarni expressed his appreciation to the wise leadership for supporting the educational process , he also thanked His Excellency the Minister of Education, the Head of the Universities Affairs Council, and His Excellency the President of King Khalid University for this trust, and asked Allah to guide him to serve the University and this country, and to help him meet all his aspirations.
Dr. Hamid bin Majdoo Al Qarni, has a PhD from York University, and won York University's excellence award for the best PhD back in 2013, he's an Associate Professor of the Physics Department at the College of Science, and a specialist in Matirials Engineering - Nanotechnology, he obtained a patent in Science of Advanced Materials, he also published and participated in publishing more than 180 researches on science magazines.
It's worth noting that Al Qarni has held a number of academic positions, most recent of which was Dean of the Scientific Research Deanship.
