Our Homeland Program Launches in its Third Version

Today, King Khalid University, represented by the Intellectual Awareness Unit, launched the third version of the "Our Homeland" program. The program aims to show the true picture of the Saudi moderate approach and its applications throughout Saudi history, enhancing the citizen's sense of belonging to the country, and increasing societal awareness and culture on thoughts harming its very existence and stability like extremism and fanaticism. The program will be attended by:

 

  • His Highness Prince, Dr. Abdullah bin Khaled Al Saud, strategic security expert;
  • Prof. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al Turki, member of the Council of Senior Scholars and Consultant in the Royal Court;
  • Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Khenain, member of the Council of Senior Scholars;
  • Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and Consultant in the Royal Court;
  • Dr. Hatem Al Marzouqi, Deputy Minister of Education;
  • Major General Pilot Abdullah Al-Saadoun, member of the Shura Council and former Commander of King Faisal Air College;
  • Colonel Abdullah Al-Hajri, Ideological Warfare Center.

 

His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, explained that this step comes within the framework of the university's keenness to enhance intellectual awareness and consolidate the values ​​of moderation in the university and the public writ large.

 

Intellectual Awareness Unit Supervisor, Dr. Misfer Al-Wadii, highlighted that they are focused on building intellectual awareness derived from the Quran and Sunnah and Alsalaf Alsaleh, may Allah have mercy on them.
