“Alive with Qur’an” in its second edition

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion at the University represented in the Department of Qur’an and its Sciences, is  to organize the second edition of the Quranic Week event, entitled “Alive with Qur’an 2”. The event will take place on the University main campus on Sunday, the 29th of this month.

 

The head of the Scientific Research Center and the Event’s Organizational Committee Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Hawash, explained that this event aims to highlight the Kingdom’s efforts in serving the Holy Qur’an, in addition to embedding the Quranic values ​​in our  society as a whole, specially among the university members and particularly among the international scholarships students.

 

Al-Hawash also explained that there will be a number of sessions, presented by selected university professors during this event. As well as courses on the rule of technology in serving the Holy Qur’an and the key methods to understanding the Holy Quran.

 

A branch from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is to participate in this Qur’anic Week with an exhibition to encourage Islamic moderation and to educate the university members through broachers, booklets and translated copies of the Holy Quran. The exhibition is to also include a competition for the best Quran recitation, and islamic phrases in the university mosques .
