Afaq Newspaper Covers Summer Events in the Region

King Khalid University's Afaq Newspaper issued a special issue on the top stories, latest headlines, and features of the region's summer events and the well-publicized Goodwill Initiative. The special issue, which was printed and published at the beginning of the 1440-41 H academic year, is a favorite among students.

 

The issue explored the region's most prominent activities and events held in the Asir during the summer period, which included a number of toursim and social events, in addition to voluntary initiatives, and the university participation in the summer activities.

 

King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, confirmed that he was keen to ensure publication of the issue by the end of summer in order to provide a summary of activities and highlight the efforts of event organizers. He also thanked Afaq Newspaper for reporting on the events.

 

Afaq Newspaper General Supervisor, Media and Communication Department Head, Prof. Ali Al-Qarni, explained that the newspaper is a model of a number of issues previously published. He also stressed that Afaq Newspaper is keen to report on regional topics, emphasizing that King Khalid University's media and press are operating at a high level of performance under the tutelage of His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy.

 

Of noteworthy mention, Afaq Newspaper has published several special issues with a focus on top headlines in the national, social and tourism sectors.
