Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Partners with King Khalid University

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Asir Region, sponsored the signing of a partnership contract between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Asir and King Khalid University, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, University Rector. 

Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Dajjam, represented the university, while His Excellency, Sh. Dr. Hajer bin Saleem Al-Amry, represented the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. 

The partnership is a result of the mutual interest and responsibility of both entities towards society, as well as a good faith effort to raise the level of programs and activities that serve Islamic awareness inside and outside of the kingdom. The partnership includes collaborative activities at Islamic venues and mosques, workshops and programs to prepare Imams, opportunities for postgraduate students to train in the field, opportunities for scholarship students to participate in activities and programs, and scientific research.
