King Khalid University (KKU) has recently signed an investment strategic partnership with Nas Air, the Saudi national carrier, in the context of the University's keenness to strengthen ties with civil society organizations to provide the best services to its employees and members of the surrounding community. The signing, which took place in the main Headquarter of the Nas Air Company, was witnessed by KKU Vice-President for Quality and Development, Dr. Ahmed Al-Jubaili, and the CEO of Nas Air Holding Company, Mr. Bandar Al-Muhanna.

Dr. Al-Jubaili stressed that this agreement is the first of a number of other partnerships with a number of parties. Its purpose is to support the university's attitudes towards society and to achieve an effective role in the vision of 2030. "The partnership will be evaluated and developed in light of the actual implementation results," Al-Jubail said.

The partnership also aims at providing services and facilities for the students and employees of the university, a number of training programs and recruitment services, and cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship for students. The university's choice of this partnership comes as a result of the university's unique position in the southern region of Aseer.

In addition, the university staff will receive discounts on their national and international flights. They also will not have to travel to the company's offices to complete their reservations, as well as the participation of Nas Air in the activities of the university which aims at student activity and sponsorship of conferences related to the university.

The agreement will also include training for university students in the fields of engineering, business administration and others, providing them with a practical environment that will help them apply what they have learned during the school years to raise their skills and provide them with competitive jobs.

It is noteworthy that Nas Air will open a company office at the university's headquarters, offering services during working hours from Sunday to Thursday.
