King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, has organized an exhibition coinciding with welcoming celebration for the new students. The exhibition was held over two days (Tuesday and Wednesday), and it witnessed participation of a number of Deanships and departments. The exhibition was arranged at the Sports Hall at the university main Headquarter, Al-Jrijer.

The exhibition aims at giving a simplified overview to the new students about the university and its available activities, as well as to highlight the rights and duties  of members of the university community in an entertaining and an interactive way. The exhibition included a number of events and student activities that serve the new student in building his or her  educational path. It is also to facilitate the achievement of smooth integration of university -  student's personality.

On this occasion, the Vice - President of Student Affairs Deanship, Dr. Nasser Qmichan stated that the Deanship was keen on holding the exhibition in order to help the new students in orienting themselves to the university and its facilities. He said, "Deanships and departments that took part in the exhibition have been chosen, depending on their relevance on the roles that affect the new students' needs and requirements at the university. He added, "We bear in mind, while arranging such exhibitions and programs, the importance of participation of regular students who have already passed through this kind of experience in university environment, so that they could facilitate easy adaptation to the environment by the fellow entrants, through using their previous experiences."
