Drug Awareness Presentation in Abha ’s Summer Tent
As part of the activities and programs in Abha’s Summer Culture and Awareness Tent, the College of Pharmacy with the collaboration of the Drug Control Directorate in the Asir Region held an educational exhibition on the dangers of drug addiction.
The exhibition included an educational awareness presentation, delivered by a group of volunteer students from the College of Pharmacy that discussed the dangers of substance abuse. The Asir General Directorate of Drug Control participated by introducing samples of natural substances and medications produced commercially that may lead to addiction, while addressing the dangers of abusing drugs and the possibility of addiction among average people, aside to displaying images that reflect the dangers of drug addiction.
