The University and the Al-Rajhi Foundation Partner in the "Ambitious Homeland" Initiative
On Tuesday evening, under the auspices of Asir Gov. Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz, the "Ambitious Homeland" initiative was launched. The effort is a partnership of the Sulaiman Bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation and King Khalid University. University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy attended the formal announcement ceremony.
The parties signed a memorandum of agreement in which they will pursue numerous and ongoing collaborative charitable campaigns that will enhance society and support the national objectives set forth in Vision 2030. Vice Rector pro tem for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdulatif Al-Hadathi, signed the memorandum on behalf of King Khalid University. Mr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Rajhi, Chief Executive Officer at Abdulrahman Saleh Al Rajhi & Partners Co. Ltd, represented the foundation. His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal honored the parties participating in the "Ambitious Homeland" initiative, and distributed plaques memorializing the event.
