University Signs Cooperation Agreement with SRDF to Provide Soft Loans to MA Students

King Khalid University, recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Foundation for Development Finance (SRDF). This is to provide soft loans to students wishing to complete a master's degree within the educational financing fund "Maslak".

 

The University was represented at the signing of the agreement by the Vice President for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdulatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, while the Foundation was represented by its CEO, Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Khamis.

 

The University Vice President for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, explained that the agreement comes to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, seeking equal access to education, and ensuring the alignment between education outcomes and the demands of the labor market, in a way that contributes to advancing the economy.

 

The agreement constitutes of providing soft loans to students wishing to enroll in master's programs at the university, without imposing any financial interest on the student whose funding request was granted.

 

The Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Foundation for Development Finance, is a non-profit institution working in the field of development finance. It provides innovative and sustainable development financing solutions, which contribute to achieving the goals of the National Transformation Program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as well as spreading a culture of sustainable development work.
