The university Rector directs all departments to complete all the necessary works before the start of the study
His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, has directed all university departments on the importance of optimized preparation for the beginning of the academic year. He has also directed them to provide the appropriate services for students, and to complete all the necessary works in sufficient time to help the students to start their academic year easily and successfully. He also urged all employees to cooperate and to work in the spirit of teamwork.
His Excellency the Rector also ordered to complete the work of moving some colleges to their new campuses. Moreover, he directed to finish the students schedule handling through the e-portal of the university before the start of the study, and to start the actual study from the first day, as well as to register the attendance and the absence of students on the academic system, in addition to filling all courses sections, and to distribute the teaching load between the faculty in all departments and colleges, according to the rules and regulations that govern it.
His Excellency the Rector also called on the competent authorities at the university to receive students on the first day of study particularly the freshmen, and to guide them to resolve all their problems especially the academic ones. In addition to that, he pointed out on activating the academic guidance as well as the reception of new faculty members, and to provide them with the necessary services.
His Excellency also instructed the relevant authorities to finish all operating and maintenance works, to make sure of all means of security and safety, and to provide all the supportive services such as, cleanness, library, water, restaurants and buffets, both in headquarters and branches. He urged them to finish the work before the start of the study.
