University President Inaugurates 8 New Initiatives for the University Agency

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Salami, patronized the inauguration ceremony of the university’s staff club, the gymnasium, and 6 other university agency initiatives  which are all  implemented by the General Administration of Facilities.

The University Vice President Prof. Muhammad Hamed Al-Beheiri, explained, “The launch of the first package of the university agency’s initiatives, comes a steps towards  achieving the university strategic goal to provide  a quality university life , develop human resources and achieve institutional excellence.

The Dean of the Deanship of Human Resources, Dr. Ali Al-Olayani, affirmed that the deanship is  keen on  providing  a suitable environment for university employees, pointing that the university gymnasium is equipped with high quality  facilities and equipment to offer the best services for university members. 

His Excellency the President of the University also inaugurated several automated services  offered by the  General Facilities Management System among which were : 

  • Maintenance Management.
  • Safety management.
  • Engineering Affairs Department.
  • Nutrition Department.
  • Transaction  management, starting from submitting reports to finalizing  them, with modern quality control systems, preparing reports and electronic performance indicators.
  •  “Marafiq” operations room system, a room for managing operations and service reports equipped with the latest technologies and linked to the camera system and unified communication to provide the best services to the beneficiaries.
  • New  security cars, equipped with the latest technologies that help security personnel to perform their tasks professionally.
  •  Traffic management cars, designed to receive university guests and reflects the identity of the university.
  • The university car maintenance workshop ,equipped with the latest devices, to offer university self-sufficient  maintenance  services .
  •  Mobile workshop emergency  maintenance services for university cars to provide optimal solutions.
