More than 50 inmates in Asir perform university enrollment examinations.

More than 50 inmates of Asir who are affiliated to the Department of law at King Khalid University have finished their final examinations for the first level. It was part of an intensive course provided by the College of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals in a gesture of cooperation between the University and the Asir Prisons Administration. The action is one of the services offered by the university to the community. The program was held over two weeks, during which courses were defined briefly to the prisoners, then they were examined under the supervision of a number of faculty members in the prison headquarter in Abha.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals Prof. Ahmed bin Hemaid thanked the university administration for allowing the Faculty to provide its services to the community through this program. The Dean further thanked the Prison Administration represented by Colonel Mohammed bin Saif Al-Shahrani for the facilities they provided to the teachers in addition to the examination halls which indeed contributed in the success of this blessed step.
