University to participate in Okaz market in Taif.

King Khalid University (KKU) is participating in the activities of Okaz market in its 8th round. Activities of the event began last Thursday under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz - may God protect him. The participation of the university comes within the Saudi universities corner as a response to the directives of the KKU President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, who stressed on the university's keenness to participate actively in all national events, to reflect the honorable image of the university in various fields, especially the scientific and academic ones.

The Supervisor of the University Corner, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamed Buhairi has stated that preparations have been completed early through conducting a diverse program in which a number of agencies within the university were involved. They include Student Affairs Deanship, the Center of Talent and Creativity, and the Public Administration for University Relations. The participation of these internal agencies is to prove the university's objectives and message, and to highlight the achievements that have been made in the educational and research tasks, in addition to highlighting the activities that are being provided to community service. Buhairi further said, "The university corner will show a number of inventions created by the employees of the university and the students, and their achievements, in addition to the distribution of a number of handbooks and brochures that will introduce university and its various programs."

On his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merraa Al Habash clarified that the Deanship is participating within the University delegation in Okaz market. To that effect, the Deanship organizes a number of student visits to the events associated with activity, so as to get them informed in this cultural event features, as well as to give them the opportunity to learn, by watching the pioneers of literature, culture and thought.
