The Assistant Secretary General for Human and Environmental Affairs in the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Abdullah bin Aklah Alhashim thanks His Excellency, King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, for his participation in the 20th Committee, which was held at Kuwait University on 14th October 2014. This was reported in a telegram received by the President which reads, "His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, the President of King Khalid University  ... I would like first to convey to your Excellency, my sincere greetings coupled with my wishes for your happiness and good health. I would like to thank your Excellency for your participation among your brothers - other university and Higher education institutions presidents - from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), through your committee session, which was held at Kuwait University on October 14, 2014. No doubt that your Excellency's participation and remarks have had a great impact on making decisions, which definitely will enhance the Gulf educational processes, so that it could achieve its purposes and desired aims. I would like also to thank the university stakeholders for their support and standing by the Council, wishing that the resolutions made during the meeting will win your support and the follow-up of those who are concerned in the university."

Earlier, the University President Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood had participated in the Committee's 20th meeting for the presidents and directors of the universities and institutions of higher education in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which took place in Kuwait University.
