University Concludes Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program

On Thursday, the 10th of August, Prof. Abdulatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, university vice president for Business and Knowledge Economy, attended the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program 2023's closing ceremony on behalf of His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami. The program was organized  on by the university and was represented by the Center for Giftedness, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with  King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.

Al-Hadithi, emphasized in his speech that training talented students and offering them enrichment opportunities contributes to the elevation of their talent and expansion of  their knowledge. The academic enrichment program in Mawhiba, he continued, is one of several summertime initiatives launched by the Vice Presidency for Business and Knowledge Economy,a long side the "Mobadiroon" program in its 4th edition, and the "Discover and Learn" program.

On his part, Director of the Center for Giftedness, Creativity and Entrepreneurship at the University, Dr. Majed Al-Aziman, delivered  a speech in which he confirmed that the program provided many skill development programs in many academic disciplines, over a period of three weeks. He added that this success was due to the concerted efforts of members from various colleges and participating entities.

During the event, the attendees watched a visual presentation, which dealt with the progress of the enrichment program and the various scientific programs that accompanied the project in 5 pathways represented in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical & Biological Sciences, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, and Chemical Applications.

Al-Hadithi honored the volunteer team, the members of the work team trainers, the partners who contributed to the success of the program, and the distinguishing talented students and noteworthy projects at the closing  of the forum.
