University President Attends the Closing Ceremony for the Second Student Forum for Medical Researcher which Included 75 Scientific Papers and 30 Lectures, and Events

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, stressed the importance of engaging university students in scientific research during their university years. He added that these types of events allow students to actively participate in the management and organization of different university events.

 On Sunday evening the 4th of September His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, attended the closing ceremony for the second student forum for medical research "Baheth", which was organized by the College of Medicine at the university and represented by the Medicine and Creativity Club. The ceremony included the presence of male and female students from 26 Saudi universities in 6 medical fields.

Al-Solami, noted that efforts towards scientific research work are highly appreciated. He also stressed that the university will work to encourage students to participate in scientific research and provide platforms for publication. Furthermore, he commended the students and university members for their cooperation in research work.

During the ceremony, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Ali bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, delivered a speech, in it he praised the efforts of the students, organizers, and participants. He also pointed that the forum presented 75 scientific research papers and 30 lectures, events, and workshops that demonstrated the participants excellence.

The ceremony also included a speech by the Forum Director, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Qarni, who expressed his happiness with the participation of about 900 students. He also praised students' efforts in the  organization and participation of the forum.

It is noteworthy that the closing ceremony included honouring the winners and participants.
