Third University Council
On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, chaired today, Wednesday the 3rd of November , the third meeting of the university council for the academic year 1443, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the members of the university council.
The vice president for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary recommendations in their regard.
Al-Qarni added that one of the most prominent recommendations issued by the Council third meeting is the approval of scholarship extensions, the termination of 23 scholarships for teaching assistants and lecturers, the appointment of 24 “assistant professors” and “lecturers,” as well as the grant of master and doctoral degrees to a number of graduate students.
Al-Qarni added, that the council recommended the approval of the Deanship of Scientific Research Incentive Awards program proposal, approved projects to be included in the King Khalid University projects portfolio as well as approving some executive regulations and memoranda of understanding.
