KKU Receives Practical and Institutional Excellence Spending Efficiency Award

King Khalid University recently received the Practical Excellence and Institutional Excellence Awards in Spending Efficiency (fourth cycle), from the Spending Efficiency and Governmental Projects Authority in the Kingdom.

 

The supervisor of the Administrative and Financial Efficiency Department at the university, Dr. Nasser bin Muhammad Asiri, explained that the university has worked tirelessly during the past period to moderate  spending efficiency opportunities to achieve  a financial balance.  He added the university submitted  monthly reports to the university  president and the  the Spending Efficiency Authority on the achievements achieved in this regard and participated  in budgeting workshops.

 

Al Asiri, also said  that the university was able to achieve this achievement through building a team  of professionals  who  applied  the concept of spending efficiency professionally, objectively and professionally,  as well as  implementing  a culture of spending efficiency with the collaboration of various units in the university, which resulted in achieving second place in  the overall evaluation of  universities category in the Practical Excellence Award. In addition  the university ranked  fourth in the  institutional excellence category, highlighting  the achievement  spending efficiency in quality services

 

It is worth noting, that the award is granted semi-annually and includes ministries, military and security agencies, universities, bodies, institutions and centers, as well as secretariats and  government agencies.
