KKU Holds the Integration between Study Plans and the Executive Program for Developing Tracks Forum

King Khalid University, represented by the Curriculum and Plans Unit at the University Vice agency for  Academic Affairs, organized the "Integration between University Study Plan Development Processes and the Executive Program for Developing Courses, Study Plans and Academics forum. The forum included the attendance of  general director of Curricula and Supervisor of tracks , Dr. Abdullah Al-Fifi,  a number of college deans, participants from  the General Administration of Education in  Asir region and a number of university employees.

University  Vice president of Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad Mohamed Dajem, explained that this forum comes to demonstrate the importance of knowing course structure and searching for options that reduce the interference of  courses with university and college requirements. He added that the forum aims to find a system that serves to accelerate the student to acquire new knowledge and skills at their university level.

 

On her part, the General Supervisor of the Plans and Curriculum Unit, Dr. Adwaa Al-Ahmari, stressed that the importance of integrating  a multi-track system in the secondary stage, developing plans and curricula, improving educational outcomes, and focusing on skills that serve students at the university level.

 

The forum included  a visual presentation by delivered by the  the General Administration of Education in the Asir region. The forum  also included a Q& A session on methods of implementing the tracks system in Asir region and the procedures for student admission to university after high school according to the tracks.
