The Future of Interdisciplinary Fields in Saudi Universities Conference

King Khalid University, represented by the Vice agency  of Academic Affairs organized the Future of Interdisciplinary Fields  in Saudi Universities According to 2030 vision, with the participation of specialist and researchers from the field. The conference is to be held on the 6-7 of March 2022 in the university city , Abha.

 

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof.  Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami welcomed the guests of the conference and the participating parties, and  praised the role of the Ministry of Education represented by His Excellency the Minister, Professor Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Universities, Research and Innovation, Professor Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Sudairi.

 

On his  vice presidents of Academic Affairs, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, explained that the conference seeks to discuss a number of topics related to the development of education and university outcomes. He noted that  most prominent themes of the conference are the philosophy of interdisciplinary, the opportunities and challenges in building and managing inter-programs  in Saudi universities, as well as international experiences in interdisciplinary programs 

 

The General Supervisor of the Curriculum and Plans Unit at the university and a member of the scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Adwaa Al-Ahmari, confirmed that conference committee received more than 60 research abstracts, 33 of which were accepted. She pointed  that the conference  will also include training workshops that coincide with the sessions presented by International experts from the field.
