Student Clubs Forum Comes to an End

The Student Affairs Deanship at King Khalid University, concluded the student clubs forum which was virtually held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Prof. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh.

 

The closing ceremony included a speech by the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, in which he congratulated the winners and thanked those who organized the forum, assuring that the outcomes of this forum will undoubtedly participate in the growth of student clubs at Saudi Universities.

 

On his part, the Dean of Student Affairs Deanship of King Khalid University, Abdullah bin Mansour Al Aideed, thanked the attendees and those who participated in the success of the forum which aimed to activate and invest in the role of technology during Covid19. He then stressed the deanship's keenness on achieving integration and cooperation and exchanging experiences among student clubs in Saudi universities. He also congratulated the winners and thanked those who organized the forum for their noticeable efforts.

 

As for the distinguished papers, awards were as following :

 

1- "Community Activities for Children : Education and Entertainment" by Taibah University.

2- "The Digital Transformation Achieved by Student Clubs Services" by King Khalid University.

3- "The Role of Student Competitions on Preparing Students for the Job Market" by the Islamic University of Madinah.

 

Outstanding experiences awards were as following: 

 

1- "Reading Academy" by Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.

2- "Emadah Program" to qualify student clubs leaders, by University of Tabuk.

3- "The University Podcast" by University of Tabuk.

 

Visual performances awards were as following:  

 

1- "Activating the Role of Student Club at King Faisal University for 2030 Vision" by King Faisal University.

2- "Student Clubs Efforts During Covid19" by Qassim University.

3- "Digital Camp for Future Skills" by Taibah University.

 

The forum stressed the importance of choosing the names, nature and quality of student clubs in a creative and innovative way to meet the needs and interests of the younger generation, in addition to activating the role of student clubs to achieve 2030 Vision.
