Deanship of Student Affairs Organizes Online Courses Helping People Deal With Self-Isolation During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Deanship of Student Affairs organized online female projects, where each program will be held for 3 days. The sports program, "My Fitness in Quarantine", and the psychology program, "Mental Health Basics", are part of the Mobaderoon project in that they are centered around happiness and well-being.

 

The psychology program aims to improve self-confidence and how to deal with trauma and will run concurrently with the sports program from the 15th to the 17th of Ramadan. Dean of Student Affairs, Dr, Abdullah Al-Adeed, expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy and the Mobaderoon organizers for developing courses that highlight a general increase of awareness around mental health.

 

Dean of Women's Student Affairs, Dr. Fatima Asiri, said: "The two programs will be implemented in cooperation with the Qimam Club in the College of Education and the Medicine Club in the College of Nursing at Khamis Mushait. We aim to enhance the university's role in serving the community and meeting its needs, and women have a large share of these initiatives."
