Electronic Participation

King Khalid University abides by the guidelines for electronic community participation tools usage in government bodies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, issued by the Digital Government.

King Khalid University online portal offers the chance for E-Participation through social media tools like blogs, polls, complaint forms, comment sections, service evaluations, and interactions through constructive dialogue. This stems from the university's belief in the value of productive discussion, upholding the concept of transparency, taking advantage of the experiences of all university employees, and hearing their comments to enhance the services provided by the university.

The terms and conditions governing the participations are implicitly approved by using different tools to participate electronically on university website pages. King Khalid University expects that the website users will read the policies and controls listed below:

• The post should be written in clear language.

• Do not repeat sending the post more than once.

• Do Not to use offensive or obscene language, information, or phrases, or any words that offend modesty, or that carry insult or slander against any person or entity, or that contain offensive religious, sectarian, or racial meanings.

• Do not to misinterpret or misuse religious writings (verses, hadiths, etc.) while citing them in postings shared on the website, and do not use them in the incorrect context.

• Participation's message should be serious, objective, and clear.

• Don not use the university's website pages in any way for any commercial purposes or any improper use.

• Do not publish personal info like names, contact information and addresses, and do not advertise for any party.

• Do not publish links or downloadable files with viruses or corrupted data

• Do not misuse the university's e-participation system in a way that affects its performance, level of security, speed, or continuity, or to prevent others from benefiting from it.

In accordance with the official regulations, the E-portal department monitors all posts and reviews them before they are published. It also work to raise the quality of discourse on campus by allowing everyone to participate in discussions in complete freedom. However, the department has the complete right to publish or remove any content that violates its policies or the laws currently in effect in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

King Khalid University is not legally responsible for the consequences of publishing comments or notes through its electronic means of participation, nor can it be legally responsible for publishing any negative comments through electronic means of participation on its portal, and for all the consequences of that publication.

  • iT Ticketing System where the user can submit a technical report to the iT Administration, and it will be followed up by the team until it is completed (link to the system).
  • Mubasher system, where users can voice their concerns to all university authorities and have the option of having their complaints escalated to the first official in the university. This allows users to track down the status of their complaints across all systems and learn what has been done about them (system link).

  • The university welcomes comments and posts through all its channels at any time.

  • The university has the right to delete any inappropriate material, or any material that contains violations on the privacy of others.

  • The university has the right to remove comments / posts, in case of non-compliance with the its terms and conditions.

  • All personal information will be handled with strict confidentiality.
