University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood's statement on the occasion of the National Day.
His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, has, on behalf of himself and the entire employees of the University, presented the deepest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, to the Crown Prince, Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and to the Deputy Crown Prince - the second Prime Minister - Prince Meqrin Bin Abdul Aziz - may God save them all - on the occasion of the 84th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His Excellency the University President has stated in his statement, that this anniversary which comes every year shows the development the Kingdom has been achieving as a result of the style of leadership being pursued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. Nowadays, our dear country is witnessing a comprehensive developmental renaissance, and national achievements that are definitely being achieved because of the wisdom of the leadership, and its remarkable eagerness to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi citizen, and that of constructing an advanced state. Aldawood has stated further that the development milestone is visibly obvious in every inch of our dear country. Take a look at anywhere, what we see is a story of, progress, of desire to deliver, and of desire to construct a prosperous future for the entire generations. All these countless blessings are the result of the way our great leaders conduct the affairs of this great nation and the patriotism of the citizens.
The President of King Khalid University continued, saying that the features of the National Day were drawn by the kings of this country, starting from the commander, and the founder of the Kingdom, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman, moving forward to the kings of this state: King Saud, King Faisal, King Khalid and King Fahd, and now reaching the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
The story of establishing the Kingdom is an inspiring one for the whole generations, and it is a story of reunion, security, unification, the establishment of a country that believes in God, and armed with pure doctrine of science and knowledge, consequently the standards of living have been flourishing. Aldawood added, "We are in the memory of the unification of this country, and we are enjoying the fruits of the overall development for both the country and the citizens, an inevitable result of the wise vision, represented in the national investment in human development areas through the expansion and opening up of higher education institutions, in addition to providing opportunities through scholarships awarded to the citizenry to benefit from the experts of the famous universities in the world, leading to the current development and progress of prosperity.
Regarding King Khalid University, His Excellency the University President explained that the university - like other Saudi universities – has been receiving generous financial and moral support from the leadership of this country. Such support contributed to King Khalid University reaching an advanced ranking among world universities. The Generous support also contributes to enabling the University to provide scientific and research services for its community. All this could not have been achieved without first God's help, and then the generous support and wise follow-up from the leadership of this country.
Aldawood concluded his statement by thanking the leadership of this blessed country for all the support accorded the citizens as well as the institutions, and appreciated the desire of the leadership to develop all aspects of the society. The President prayed to God to sustain this country with the blessing of safety, security and stability under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince, praying to Allah protect them all. His Excellency the University President also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Asir region for his commitment to the development of Asir region in general and King Khalid University in particular, through continuous keenness in all developmental aspects, his follow-up, and his supports. May Allah continue to bless this country, its leaders and the people.
