University trains staff

On behalf of King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawood, the University Vice-President Prof. Marei Bin Hussein Al-Qahtani patronized a ceremony honoring the project of training the university staff at Abha Palace Hotel. The ceremony included two sessions titled Capacity Building and Self- Building, and Effective Time Management. The Dean of community Service and continuing Education, Dr Mubarak Bin Said Hamdan, Dean of Teaching staff and Employees, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hadi besides a number of faculty members attended the sessions.

During his speech Al-Qahtani thanked both deanships of Community Service and Continuing Education, and of Faculty Members for their important and leading roles carried out inside and outside the university and the tremendous work that contribute to the training and qualification of staff, as reflect on their professional performance.

In this regard, the trainee Abdullah Saleh al-Qahtani clarified that attending such training courses increases employee awareness and significantly reflects on his performance. Additionally, the departments of the university get great benefit when their employees attend such training courses that enhance their capabilities.

It is worth mentioning that the project aims to build and strengthen the capacity of employees of the university, and give them the personal skills necessary to improve their performance in order to serve the objectives and plans which will reflect positively on the management system.
