University celebrates female Alumni

King Khalid University celebrated the 16th graduation of the university female students at the university theater, Al-jrejer, 26/6/1435AH. The ceremony witnessed honoring graduates of Doctoral, Master, and BA graduates.

On this occasion, the President of the University, Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawood, gave a recorded word, thanking His Highness, the Prince of Asir region, for his patronage of the ceremony and his participation in the students' joy of graduation. He said, "This proves the leaders' and governors' care and interest- God protect them - in this blessed country to support the education process."

He added, "The University is proud of its graduates, male and female, who are armed with science and knowledge in all scientific, theoretical, and medical disciplines to contribute to the building and the welfare of this country."

In this regard, the Vice-President of the Admission and Registration Deanship, Dr. Hanan Al-Saadi, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the leader of the march to Higher Education, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdulla Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness, the Prince of Asir region, Prince Faisal Bin Khalid.

Al-Saadi said that the total number of graduates this year reached 12 163 students, male and female, and the number of graduates of the literary sections reached 6 711 students, 55% of the graduates.

 

The number of graduates from scientific, medical, engineering, and computer departments reached 5 425 students, 45% of the graduates.

Al-Saadi also confirmed that the university is seeking to create disciplines needed by the labor market. She explained that the number of Graduate Studies students is growing. She stressed that the following years will witness remarkable growth and a significant increase.
