University Holds Campaign Celebrating 150 Children Suffering from Autism (I'm a Human Being)

In the presence of 150 children suffering from Autism, Teriaq Club, which is affiliated to the Pharmacy College at King Khalid University, held a campaign titled “I'm a Human Being” last Tuesday. The campaign coincided with the International Day for Autism. The following officials attended the celebration: the Vice-President of Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ali Hassoun, the Dean of the university’s Center for the Study of Students & Nursing College, Dr. Shanifa Al-Qarni, and the Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Dr. Khalid Alokhali .

In this regard, the Vice-President, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ali Hassoun, explained that the university is responsible for the concerns of the community and seeks to take part in various areas. He said, "What we've seen in this blessed campaign pleased us all and we hope to continue supporting this dear cause."

The Dean of the University Center for the Study of Students & Nursing College, Dr. Shanifa Al-Qarni, was happy about the celebration. She said, "This campaign is evidence of the university President’s desire to reach the largest number of people of the community in order to provide awareness and education services."

It is worth mentioning that the campaign included 3 aspects; food, medicine and care.
