Second Edition of Student Activities Forum Launched

Vice Rector for Female Students Affairs, Prof. Kholoud Abu Melha, sponsored the activities of the Student Activities Forum in its second edition. The forum will continue to 29-6-1441AH in the theater of the College of Science and Arts at the King Abdullah Road Campus.

 

In the events, Prof. Abu Melha noted the importance of encouraging students to adopt creative thinking, noting that the university will empower talented students in various fields while promoting the values and responsibilities of an academic mindset.

 

Vice Rector Abu Melha sent her sincere gratitude to His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad Du'ajim, Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Aledaid, and Vice Dean for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Fatimah Shaban, for their support and managerial oversight.

 

Vice Rector Shaban explained that this forum is an extension to the success last year's forum, noting that it represents a qualitative improvement in the activities of female students to contribute in supporting the educational process and obtain critical skills needed in the labor market.

 

She also emphasized that this forum aims to encourage and support talented students to show their creativity in various fields as follows:

 

  • Six Thinking Hats theory
  • Folklore performance
  • Peace, coexistence, and acceptance proposals;
  • Fashion shows;
  • Lessons in the Art of Life.

 

"Student activities is a creative space that allows students the opportunity to spend free time doing something they love. It is also a positive method to spread awareness and to hold programs that benefit students and the society we live in," she said.

 

Of noteworthy mention, this program aspires to achieve extra-curricular in providing a positive, creative atmosphere in collaboration with all student clubs to enhance campus life.
