University Holds 6th Annual Council Meeting: Partnerships With Chinese Higher Education Highlighted

King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, chaired the university's Sixth Council Meeting. In addition to the regular members (Vice Rectors and Deans), the Secretary-General (Interim) for the Committee of Higher Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, attended. His Excellency began the meeting by thanking Allah for his blessings and praising the Prophet, peace be upon him. Vice Rector of Graduate Studies, Prof. Saad Al-Amri, reviewed the meeting agenda. The topics discussed included:
- Recommendation to approve the proposal to restructure the College of Science and Arts;
- Recommendation to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between University of Heilongjiang in the People's Republic of China and King Khalid University;
- Recommendation to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Tianjin University, the first modern higher education institution in the People's Republic of China, and King Khalid University;
- Review of the 2018-19 Annual Report;
- Recommendation to amend and approve the academic calendar of the 2019-20 spring semester.
