University Rector Inaugurates Faculty Member Training Platform
His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, inaugurated the electronic training platform for faculty members. Vice Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, stressed that the university seeks to offer faculty members training in all areas, noting that it will include teaching and learning, scientific research, community service, professional development, and academic leadership, through a variety of high-quality diverse programs. He emphasized that the platform will elevate performance. Vice Rector Al-Shahrani thanked the General Administration for Information and Technology for their distinctive efforts and support.
Regarding the platform's role, Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajri, explained that the platform falls under the purview of King Khalid University's Strategic Plan, which aims to raise the level of performance and qualifications among faculty members. He also thanked His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy and Vice Rector Al-Shahrani for their continued support.
