Fire Drill Held in the University Medical Service Building

The Department of Civil Defense in the Asir Region, in collaboration with the Security and Safety Department at King Khalid University, arranged the spring 2018 evacuation drills at the Medical Service Building in the presence of the Red Crescent, Saudi Electricity Company, the Traffic Department, the Asir Municipality, and the University Vice Rector, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hassoon. The drill was planned at a convenient time to minimize the disruption of classes and research.

All staff members and students in the service building were evacuated to the assigned assembly areas and then to the main evacuation area with all necessary precautions to enhance the effectiveness of the drills. The fire drill was designed to familiarize employees and students with all available means of exits in the case of an emergency. At the end of the drill, the steps and measures needed to prevent fire accidents were thoroughly described.
