University Organizes a Seminar on Restoring Hope, Development, and Stability for Yemen

King Khalid University is organizing a seminar on the efforts of the coalition countries to restore hope, development, and stability to the State of Yemen. The seminar also will highlight the security, political and developmental achievements achieved so far.

On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solamy, Rector of King Khalid University, informed us that the seminar falls under ministerial directives to all Saudi universities. These seminars are expected to highlight the efforts of the coalition countries to restore hope for the development and stability of Yemen on a monthly basis. Rector Al-Solamy added that the seminar King Khalid University is going to hold will occur on Monday, 17/6/1439 AH, in the presence of a number of senior scientists, academicians, intellectuals, and politicians. The seminar aims at highlighting the role of the coalition countries. In the forefront of these countries is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The seminar also aims to underscore the role of coalition countries in supporting our brothers in Yemen at all levels.

Rector Al-Solamy also spoke about the future role of the Kingdom and the coalition countries in the reconstruction of Yemen after its stability and mobilizing international efforts in support of the legitimate Yemeni government and our people in Yemen.

In his speech, the University Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, who is the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Amri, related that the symposium on the efforts of the coalition countries in the development of Yemen and its stability, which will be held at the university, is focused on the issue of separation and its impact on tearing apart the Islamic Ummah. The symposium has three axes:

  • The axis for the efforts of the coalition countries in the stability of Yemen.  
  • The axis of Shia extremism and its historical roots.
  • The axis of the relationship between terrorist groups and the coup in Yemen.
