King Khalid University signed a cooperation agreement with the National Entrepreneurship Institute. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, the Rector of King Khalid University, represented the University while Engineer Saleh Bin Abdullah Al-Suwayan represented the National Entrepreneurship Institute.

The primary aspect of cooperation is characterized by the formation of a joint teamwork operational agreement. It comprises specialists from both sides to activate the areas of cooperation in this agreement. Furthermore, the central scope of work is mainly oriented towards the identification of areas related to the dissemination of the culture of entrepreneurship to the targeted group according to the plans developed by both parties. An efficient way of completing this -- as it was noted – is to hold programs and workshops in the same field.

In his speech, the Director of the Center for Talent and Creativity at the University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maghrabi, related that this agreement is the cornerstone in the development of entrepreneurship in the university. He added that the agreement helps the owners of investment ideas to start implementing their projects and to realize operations at the ground level. Moreover, it helps small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to begin the intricate process of project development while benefiting from an increase in the scope of their work.

Dr. Al-Maghrabi added that the Center for Talent and Creativity thanked the Rector Al-Solamy for moving the agreement forward. He also thanked the National Entrepreneurship Institute for their active cooperation and participation in the development of entrepreneurship among university employees and students.
