His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University Prof. Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Ghassan Al Sulaiman. The signing of the memorandum took place within the 'Biban 2017 Event' which was inaugurated by HE Dr. Ghassan Al Sulaiman, in the presence of HE Minister of Housing, Dr. Majid Al Haqail, HE Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Abdullah Ammar Al Sawah, and HE Minister of Labor, Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafees. The event was held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center and witnessed record attendance by visitors, people in business, and a number of governmental and private agencies that provide holistic support to small and medium enterprises.

The primary objective of the memorandum allows for the use of the KKUx platform (which is one of the initiatives by the e-Learning Deanship), in publishing the training materials produced by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises in addition to developing, preparing and producing electronic training materials in the fields of entrepreneurship, and supporting small and medium enterprises. It also seeks to benefit from the e-Learning competencies and expertise at King Khalid University in providing training and consultation for entrepreneurs and facilities.

The Dean of the e-Learning Deanship, Dr. Fahad bin Abdullah Al Ahmari, has clarified that everyone in the Deanship of e-learning is prepared and completely ready to implement the terms of this agreement. "We are happy with this agreement, and we in the Deanship of e-learning are willing to harness our technical capabilities and our practical experiences to support small and medium enterprises and achieve the objectives of this fruitful cooperation with God's will and help," he said.
