University Hosts Fire Protection Training Program

King Khalid University will host a training program on standards and requirements for safety, prevention and fire protection in health facilities organized by the Directorate of Civil Defense in the Asir Region, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the region and the university. The program will be held over 5 days, starting on the 14th of this month.

This program is in coordination with the Directorate of Civil Defense in the region and the General Administration of Safety and Security at the Ministry of Health in the Asir. The program will benefit more than 50 trainees.

The Department of Civil Defense will provide five free seats for university staff. A number of employees of the General Administration of Safety and Security were nominated by virtue of their specialization.

It is worth mentioning that His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, discussed the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Civil Defense Directorate.  The agreement included various cooperation areas such as awareness, religious education, and joint training. The agreement also included conducting scientific studies and research issues that concern Civil Defense and contribute to finding systematic and scientific solutions in the field of safety and prevention from fire, in addition to the classification of natural, industrial, and radiation hazards in the fields of safety and security.
