"Endowments and its impact on community development" course in the University health, educational, and awareness program in Thrban.

The Vice - President of the King Khalid University (KKU), who is also the Deputy of the General supervisor of the fourth health, educational, and awareness program which is being held in Thrban center in Majardh, has inaugurated a training course entitled " Endowments and its impact on community development." The course was conducted by the College of Sharia of the university, and was presented by Dr. Abdullah Al Edeid.

During the course, Dr. Al Edeid explained that endowment was a bright image in the history of Islamic civilization, and it must have an effective impact and positive role for the benefit and interest of people. Endowment Investments have a role in endowments development as endowment is one of the most important tributaries for funding charitable, social, humanitarian projects, and public interests. Islamic endowment contributes, through the ages, to the handling of many of the financial and economic issues.  Dr. Al Edeid also clarified, "we need to revive the culture of endowment and how it is essential to do charity and social works in the community." He added, "we must work on spreading the culture of endowment and on the revival of this Sunnah by facilitating its procedures and working towards a complementary strategy for the advancement of all aspects, in addition to spreading awareness through the media and through the school curricula in schools and in universities, and at lectures and seminars"

Moreover, a training course for muezzins was held in the main camp. The course was presented by Dr. Muhammad Kadm, in which he reviewed the regulations and provisions of Muezzin career. Another course was held for imams and preachers. This course was presented by both Dr. Khaddran Al-Omari Ali and Dr. Ali Al-Obeidi, and included the most important provisions concerning the imam and highlighted the preachers' responsibilities.
