"Qmps in the court of Seif Aldawla" on the stage of the University Theatre.

On the stage of the University Theater at the University City in Abha, 16 students from theatrical activity section of King Khalid University (KKU), have participated in the revival of the comedy drama "Qmps in the court of Seif Aldawla". The play which witnessed the participation of artist Abdullah Asiri, was directed by the Director of Culture and Arts Association in Abha, Mr. Ahmed Alserwi.

The play came within the activities and programs of KKU theatrical activity of this year, and it is in collaboration with the Culture and Arts Society of Abha. Moreover, the play has highlighted a number of community issues but in a comic style; there was also another on parents' negative ways of dealing with their children, which may result in extremism. Also highlighted was the cons of the use of Digital media in a wrong way, in addition to the role of the media in the transfer of general cultural images among young people.

Speaking at the occasion, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merra alhabash, stressed that theatrical activities were very important for students when those activities portray positive messages in their content. He said, "The University's partnership with the Culture and Arts Association in the region will continue to provide more theatrical works, in order to revive the theater culture."

It is noteworthy that the show witnessed a great reaction from the audience, which exceeded 2,000 people in number, especially since the brought about discussions on a number of important implications, values, social and national messages through comedy.
